Florida Has Been Home for Generations
Southtide Construction LLC was founded by John and Kari Rowell in 2021.
But their families have been building a better life in Florida since 1830 — that’s when their fore-bearers first settled on their Florida homestead that still exists to this day.
Meet John Rowell
Before starting Southtide Construction, John grew up running his family business which was a staple of the Gainesville, FL community for more than 50 years.
Since relocating to Sarasota, FL in 2014, John has built over 200 homes as the Construction Manager for two of the Top 10 National Home Builders, as well as multiple custom builders in Southwest Florida.
Meet Kari Rowell
As the daughter of an award-winning Florida builder, she grew up learning on job sites and touring the model homes to learn the latest design trends.
Kari’s professional experience also includes numerous awards for her work for local custom builders and national powerhouses alike.
